Sell Your Boat or Your Money Back...
1) Why are you better than other boat sites? - This is not an easy site to get your boat advertised on. We turn boats down all the time! Other sites usually take any boat that comes along. The problem with that is, they don't necessarily have buyers looking for the boats they're listing. We don't put your boat on our site unless we believe we'd have a market for it. Another advantage of our approach is that because fewer boats are visible on the site... Your boat doesn't get lost in a "sea" of thousands of boats. Your boat is being seen by nearly every visitor to this site, because it is always right on "Page 1" of the "Boats for Sale" page. We also charge less than many of our competitors, and don't charge ANY broker commission (our pricing varies based on boat details...email for more info). And of course we guarantee to get your boat sold or you get a full refund of our sign up fee!
2) Why are you better than brokers? - Well first off, brokers charge a lot - 10 percent of the sale price of your boat is the standard. Second, many buyers don't like dealing with brokers, and won't even inquire about a boat if it is with a broker (we hear this all the time.) Third, brokers are really doing something you could have done yourself (and saved the 10 percent.) They are running ads for your boat, and showing it to buyers. Is that worth the thousands you are going to give them for doing so? Probably not. YOU probably could have done what they do!
3) How quickly will my boat sell? - We are called sellyourboatNow.com NOT "sellyourboatNever.com", generally we move boats pretty quickly.
4) What if I am a buyer? - Look at the "Boats for Sale" page on this website. It features some great boats. Call the sellers. Ask for some pictures, or get the answers to any other questions you have, by communicating directly with the owner/s. But please, don't email us for a book value quote on a boat you are thinking about buying. We provide quotes to SELLERS ONLY!
5) Why did we email you that we have a buyer interested in your boat? - Often we already have a buyer in your area who requested the same type of boat you're selling. If your goal is to sell the boat, this should NOT upset you!
6) Why did we send you a PayPal invoice? - Because you filled out our online form saying you are a "seller" and we can sell the boat. So to make it easy for you to pay online, and sign up, we sent you an invoice.
7) Why didn't we send you a free book value quote after you requested one? - We did! If you didn't receive it you are more than likely either using a corporate email account, a .org account, a .edu account, or an rr.com account. All of those email providers often fail to allow emails through from commercial websites. THEY are blocking you from receiving the quote! We suggest you start using a "normal" email provider (like Yahoo or Gmail). The ONLY scenario in which we intentionally don't send the free quote, is when you have failed to fill the email form out properly. In those cases, you're leaving out things like the boats make, or year. There is no way for us to provide a book value quote if we don't know those things about the boat!
8) What should I know about the cashiers check scam? - You should know that it is affecting nearly every classified site on the internet. Whether you have a car on an auto site or a boat on a boat site, you could be contacted by these scams. The bottom line is this - use common sense. If a buyer contacts you, and they're asking you to send any form of payment for any reason, and/or they're not coming to see the boat in person, or not paying in U.S funds...IGNORE them! Better yet, send their contact info to the FBI! Law enforcement takes the check scams very seriously, and will pursue those perpetrating the scam.
9) Is this website a scam? - We've been in business since 2004, and our CEO has been in the boat selling business since 1993. We have business merchant accounts with every major credit card, and are PayPal verified. Our website is registered and hosted by one of the largest hosting and domain providers on the web. Businesses that are "scams" cannot keep things like that going. The credit cards and banks involved with them begin to cancel their accounts if they're hearing of fraud complaints. PayPal cancels a company's account. The hosting provider may remove the site from the web, and cancel it's account, if it was confirming that the company was a scam. The search engines would likely not allow the website to appear in any of its search results. Not to mention the FTC and other government organizations would almost certainly take legal action against the company. But as you can see, NONE of this has happened to us, and we've been going strong since 2004. This site is owned by a parent company that owns and operates numerous successful websites. So no, OBVIOUSLY this site is NOT a scam!
10) Why did I read something negative about your company on a consumer website? - Most of the various websites online, which feature "complaints" written and posted by "customers", are now being exposed regularly for the fraudulent, scam sites they actually are! Most of these so called "consumer advocacy" sites, are finding themselves under investigation, and on the losing end of lawsuits. They notoriously post fake complaints, alter the facts to suit the "complaint", proclaim websites to be "suspicious sites" with no factual basis for doing so, eliminate and delete rebuttals, make false allegations, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, attempt to extort money from the company's that "appear" on their sites.
Don't believe us? Here's a typical example of how these so called "consumer" posting boards/websites, actually work: Follow any of the links below to read or watch TV reports about all of the CRIMINAL trouble the "RIPOFFREPORT" and its webmaster are now in!

Similar criminal investigations are already underway targeting several other "consumer" sites.
Unfortunately, people (like you) are finding themselves involved in litigation as well, for having posted damaging content about a company on these "advocacy" websites, forums, or blogs.
Our advice would be: Careful what you read, where you read it, and what you write. You want to make sure anything you read and take seriously (or write), came from an honest source, that actually utilized the product, and came to fully provable, not defamatory, true, conclusions. These "consumer complaints" sites, are listing everyone from Sony and Serta Mattresses, to Burger King and Best Western as "scam" company's that are committing "fraud". Does Burger King or Sony seem like scam company's to you? In plain English, these "complaints" sites are full of _____.
